Founded in 1983 and currently in partnership with Harley-Davidson, Buell motorcycles sold their 100,000th bike in 2006.
If you own a Buell, you know how special it is. So, make sure it’s properly insured.
Buell Minimum Motorcycle Liability Insurance
Each of the 50 states have minimum liability insurance laws. For example, if you live in Wisconsin, the home of Buell Motorcycles (and Harley-Davidson for that matter), following are the minimum liability limits you must carry on your Buell bike:
Bodily Injury Liability Coverage
- $25,000 per person injured in any one accident and $50,000 for all persons injured in any one accident
Property Damage Liability Coverage
- $10,000 for injury to or destruction of property of others in any one accident
Note that these coverage are minimum amount requirements. Many experts suggest $250,000 for bodily injury liability and at least $25,000 for property damage liability.
