Triumph motorcycles have seen a resurgence in recent years. Their line of modern classics, cruisers and urban sports themed motorcycles appeal to a lot of bikers.
When you get that Triumph you’ve been seeking, make sure you carefully consider the limits and type of insurance coverage you want to have on the bike. Motorcycle coverages are similar to automobile coverages:
Triumph Motorcycle Insurance- Liability
There are two major types of motorcycle liability insurance:
- Bodily Injury- This coverage is expressed with two limits. One limit is per person and the other is per accident. It pays out up to the policy limit if someone is injured as a result of an accident where you’re at fault
- Property Damage- When damage occurs to another’s property because of an accident you’ve caused, this coverage will pay out up to the policy limit
Note: Each state has a minimum limit requirement for liability coverages.
- Collision- If you purchase collision, you will be protected for any damage to your Triumph that occurs as a result of a collision with a vehicle or any other object
- Comprehensive- Damage to your bike caused by anything other than collision such as fire, theft or vandalism, will be paid if you bought comprehensive insurance
