The new Ducati Superbike 1199 Panigale is coming…are you ready?
The new generation Superbike will be unveiled at the EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan 10-13 November.
The new Ducati model promises to deliver record performance, breathtaking design and technical innovation.
The Panigale also breaks with Ducati’s Superbike tradition by adding a name to its 1199cc engine capacity and associating that name to the Borgo Panigale (pronounced “Pan-ee-gah-lee”) area of Bologna.
The Panigale ditches the old belt-driven cams in favour of gear drive which makes it a more conventional V in appearance. The actual V-angle remains 90 degrees, but the bore is far bigger and the stroke much shorter than earlier engines.
